Resilience

This week on my podcast, “Happy Monday,” I had the good fortune to interview my friend, Emily Kristen Morris, who is currently touring the country as the standby for the lead role of “Elphaba” in the Broadway musical, “Wicked.” Her journey from thyroid cancer, which resulted in a surgery that paralyzed a vocal chord, to singing one of the most vocally taxing scores in the history of musical theatre shows a great deal of resilience.
